Goal #2 - Water Audits

The District is considering a Water Audit Program that will identify usage patterns, prudent and wasteful practices, and customer system efficiencies.  The information generated by the Audit Program can be used for further education, staff training, and development of better management practices.  It may lead to tighter measurement, incentive pricing, and other conservation measures.

The District plans to work with both the State of Utah and Weber Basin Water Conservancy District to make water audits available to customers.  The District may do an audit of the entire system in order to save as much water as possible for its own beneficial use.  Roy Water Conservancy District will be proactive in the management of its water resources in order to maintain customer availability and have water available for sale to other jurisdictions that have inadequate supplies.  Roy Water Conservancy District will assist its customers to have water audits performed either through the State or Weber Basin Water Conservancy District.
