RAIL TRAIL WATERLINE PROJECT

DESCRIPTION OF WORK:  The work consists of furnishing and installing 1,520 lineal feet of 10-inch C900 DR18 PVC Waterline in an existing gravel driveway.  The work also includes:  the installation fittings, service laterals, an air/vac valve, gravel driveway repair; and all other related appurtenance and associated work as indicated in the Contract Document.

LOCATION OF WORK:  The work is in an existing gravel road between 4000 South and approximately 4200 South near an existing Denver Rio Grande right-of-way in Roy City, Utah.

COMPLETION OF WORK:  All work specified in the contract documents shall be completed on or before 30 days from the Notice to Proceed.

BID SECURITY:  Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in the amount of five percent of the total bid price, made payable to Roy Water Conservancy District as a guarantee that the bidder, if his bid is accepted, will promptly execute the Contract, secure payment of Worker's Compensation insurance, and furnish a satisfactory, faithful performance bond in the amount of one hundred percent of the contract price and payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent of the contract price.

RECEIPT OF BIDS:  Sealed bids will be accepted at the Office of Roy Water Conservancy District, 5440 Freeway Park Drive, Riverdale, Utah until 10:00 a.m. on April 8, 2021, for the Rail Trail Waterline Project for Roy Water Conservancy District.

OPENING OF BIDS:  Bids will be publicly opened at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 8, 2021, at the aforementioned office of Roy Water Conservancy District.
