Summary
& Conclusions
The Roy Water Conservancy District is a leader in the gathering,
storage, and distribution of water resources for irrigation purposes.
The District has had success in being able to deliver water to
customers during drought and system failures and will continue in a
leadership role in water management through the following:
- Continue to improve education programs directly to the customers
on usage, demonstration gardens, and the future water museum;
- Make Water Audits readily available to customers throughout the
State of Utah and Weber Basin Water Conservancy District;
- Study the feasibility of metering the system, and perform an
initial experiment
- Recapture the West Side Tail Water for beneficial District
use;
- Continue to develop the District's current water rights; and
- Continually evaluate the system for the effects of various
conservation measures on operations and efficiencies.
