If you are planting new sod, putting down new seed, or managing an agricultural area (e.g., a fruit orchard, a hay field, etc.), the District will consider an exception on a case-by-case basis. Please fill out a Watering Permit Application, submit it, and we will let you know when it has been reviewed. A Watering Permit does NOT allow you to water as much as you want; restrictions and guidelines regarding watering between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. and for excessive lengths of time must still be adhered to. The permit allows for new sod and seed to be watered as needed to be kept moist, which is not more than 2-3 times per day.
Roy Water Conservancy District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
